FAQ newborn photographer by Joanne Arquiza

1. How many days is ideal for newborn photo shoot?

For me, 5-9 days old is considered the best time, the baby must be less than 2-weeks old so we can capture him/her in the smallest form. It is also easier to photograph a sleeping baby – he/she takes the most nap during this time, the youngest days, the better.

2. How long is the shoot?

To tell you the truth, newborn photography sessions are typically long due to frequent nurturing of the infant. Although nap times are hard to predict, we have acquired patience in waiting for the right time to take pictures. A safe estimate of 3-4 hours per session, I specifically do not rush things. The baby can take as many break(s) as needed.

3. Do you do home service?

The baby’s comfort and safety is my number one priority, I do not want to risk of you bringing the baby in our studio at a very young age. However, there is a minimal Php 1,500 additional charge as we will bring our props and light setup in the comfort of your home.
